in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Customer Service/Operations professional to coordinate and monitor day-to-day shipments for international customers, across sea, air, truck, rail, and express modes. You will be the first point of contact for customers and partners, ensure timely documentation, track shipment status, reply to inquiries promptly, and support SOP development and reporting.

We are looking for Logistics Customer Service/Operations staff to join our team in Malaysia, which is supporting the Asia-Pacific region. As a part of a multicultural team, you achieve exceptional service in co-operation with customers, service providers and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring day-to-day shipments for appointed international customers, act as point of contact and handle all modes of transport. You commit yourself to strive for excellent and outstanding performance in all your activities.
Primary Responsibilities
· Receive, book, track and manage shipments in various modes of transport, primarily sea and air
· Monitoring of shipments and maintaining status and visibility of shipments
· Correct and timely handling and review of all transport relevant documents
· Serve as first point of contact for our customers ensuring efficient customer communication
· Liaise with our appointed service partners
· Troubleshooting by communicating with all involved parties and available resources in order to develop corrective action plans, attend to and solve incident and complain issues timely and efficiently
· Fast replies to enquiries and requests
· Support reviews and development of standard operating procedures (SOP), internal and external
· Preparation and submission of relevant reports to customers
· Co-operate with other departments locally and within the Wurth network
· To support any other related tasks assigned from time to time
Key Performance Indicators
· Shipment volumes handled per day
· Data quality levels
· Other KPIs as defined and agreed with the management
Requirements
· 3 years of professional experience in international transport logistics
· Proven track record of handling and organizing shipments in one or more of the following modes of transport: Sea, Air, Truck, Rail or/and Express
· Solid understanding of shipping terms, documentation and terminology
· SPM/Diploma in Transport/Logistics or Business Administration, International Business
· Effective written and oral communication skills in English
· Well-organised with IT-based day-to-day operations
· Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP experience is a plus
· Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver
