Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Compliance Executive/Engineer (Export & Customs) to manage export operations, ensure customs compliance, and coordinate logistics activities to support a smooth supply chain.
The role requires proficiency in Excel and at least 1 year of experience. You will handle LMW reporting, HS Code classifications, COO verification, and documentation review to prevent compliance risks.

The Logistics Compliance Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating logistics activities to support smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations. The role ensures all shipments comply with regulatory requirements while maintaining cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Must be skilled in computers especially Microsoft Excel, have at least 1 year working experience.

Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and production schedules.
Assist in monitor production schedules and report any deviations or potential delivery risks to the Head of PPC.
Assist in coordinate daily production priorities with Production and Logistics teams.
Monitor actual production performance against the production plan.
Report production issues and support recovery actions to achieve shipment and delivery plans.
Ensure raw material availability to support uninterrupted production.
Assist in coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics to resolve material shortages, delayed deliveries, and inventory issues.
Monitor inventory levels, material consumption, and production output, and report any abnormalities to the Head of PPC.
Assist in controlling inventory to minimize shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
Support new product introductions, engineering changes (ECN), and supply chain readiness activities.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve planning efficiency and inventory control.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of PPC.
Oversee compliance with Malaysia LMW regulations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, inventory reconciliation, and adherence to LMW operating conditions.
Lead the review of documentation and issuance of clearance instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to broker submission.
Lead internal reviews of LMW processes and implement corrective actions to proactively address compliance risks.
Coordinate annual LMW license renewals, supporting documentation preparation, submission, clarification, and Customs audit activities. M1, M2, H, T8 Waste (Disposal), Lampiran B, Bon Am, A1, A2, A3, F, G1, Layout.
Ensure compliance with the Customs Act 1967, Strategic Trade Act, and other applicable customs and trade regulations.
Review and maintain the correct HS Code (Tariff Code) classification for exported products.
Verify Country of Origin (COO) requirements and supporting documentation.
Ensure import and export documentation complies with destination country requirements, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), and bilateral trade agreements where applicable.
Provide training and awareness programs on export controls, HS Code and trade compliance requirements.
Support internal and external audits, including gap assessments, and corrective action plans.
Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to management and relevant authorities.
