Job summary

SWEP Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping arrangements and invoicing, and to coordinate with freight forwarders.

You will check carrier charges, verify invoices, monitor inbound shipments, prepare customs documentation, and support ISO 9001/ISO 14001 initiatives while collaborating with the Finance team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with 2+ years of experience in Logistics.
• Exposure to ISO certified EMS and QMS manufacturing environments.
• Good command of written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Daily shipping arrangement and invoicing.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders related to logistics matters.
• Check charges from freight forwarders and verify invoices.
• Responsible for inbound shipment monitoring.
• Prepare, issue and compilation of shipping documents for Customs Clearance.
• Assist Finance Department by supplying required data for ATS Renewal.
• Involve in implementation and maintenance of 5S, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• Any other assignments or delegations from superior.

Job description

Responsible for daily shipping arrangement and invoicing.

Coordinate with freight forwarders related to logistics matter.

Check charges from freight forwarders and verify invoices from freight forwarders.

Responsible for other logistics matter ie. COO application, provide data and information for completion of Freight Reconciliation Report etc.

Responsible for inbound shipment monitoring.

Responsible for execution of freight quotation.

Prepare, issue and compilation of shipping documents for Customs Clearance according to the required documentation process and compliance with the Customs regulations and requirement for imported and exported goods.

Responsible to assist Finance Department by supplying required data and information in renewal ATS Status upon expiration.

Involve in implementation, maintenance and improvement for 5S, ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) in the company.

Any other assignments or delegations from superior.

Job Requirements

Minimum Diploma, together with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Logistics,

Preferably with experience in MNC manufacturing environment.

Exposure in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.

Good command of written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good team work spirit and good communication skills.

Strong sense of foresight and have an "eye for detail"
