Job summary

SWE P Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring Manufacturing Production Workers to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Role focuses on machining, processing, assembly, or packaging, with emphasis on meeting schedules and quality targets. The position is full-time and based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within a global energy solutions company.

Qualifications

• A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Works under moderate supervision.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to meet production specs and quality standards.
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitoring output quality and identifying defective products for rework or discard.
• Maintaining accurate daily production records for performance analysis.

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:

• Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.

A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

• Works under moderate supervision.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
