Job summary

Lien Huat Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Export & Shipping Coordinator to manage documentation, bookings, and timely delivery for international shipments.

You'll collaborate with freight forwarders, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth order fulfilment, while supporting sample dispatches and cross-functional operations. Fresh graduates welcome and training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, STPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Export & Shipping Coordination: prepare and verify export docs, coordinate shipments, track deliveries, liaise with insurers and agents.
• Documentation & Compliance: ensure documents are accurate and submitted on time, liaise with MITI, MATRADE, Customs and regulators.
• Sample & Customer Support: prepare and coordinate product samples, arrange courier collections, support sales with shipments schedules.
• Cross-Functional Operations: collaborate with production, warehouse, purchasing, and sales to fulfil orders and support process improvements.

About the Role

At Lien Huat Group, logistics is much more than arranging shipments. This role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring products move efficiently from our factory to customers around the world.

You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, government agencies, suppliers, customers, and our internal production and sales teams. No two days are the same—you’ll solve problems, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and help keep our import and export operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Export & Shipping Coordination

• Prepare and verify export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, certificates, MITI permits (K2), and other shipping documents.
• Coordinate shipment bookings with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and courier service providers.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while resolving logistics issues proactively.
• Liaise with insurance providers and appointed shipping agents when required.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure shipping documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with government agencies such as MITI, MATRADE, Customs, and other regulatory authorities.
• Maintain organized records of shipping and export documentation.

Sample & Customer Support

• Prepare, inspect, and coordinate delivery of product samples to local and international customers.
• Arrange courier collections and deliveries for documents, samples, and customer requests.
• Support the sales team by coordinating shipment schedules, stock availability, and customer requirements.

Cross-Functional Operations

• Work closely with production, warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Assist with administrative and operational projects as assigned.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer service.
