Job summary

Improvage Precision Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a Logistics Assistant to coordinate with the logistics executive, update inventory databases, receive and check deliveries, sign delivery notes, and ensure stock is handled safely.

You will support clerical work, prepare travellers requests by loading stock, monitor goods in transit for timeliness and legality, and assist in loading/unloading, packing, and ad-hoc tasks from top management.

• Sign delivery notes and ensure proper handling of fragile items.
• Assist loading/unloading, stocking, and packaging merchandise.

Job description

Coordinate with logistics executive to perform various warehouse related function such as updating and maintaining inventory control databases.

Carry out clerical work, including typing, proofreading, and editing documents, correspondence, and reports for the logistics department or assigned.

Adhere to receiving regulatory compliance procedures & requirements that meets the quality standard and specification.

Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered.

Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.

Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.

Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.

Preparing our job travellers requests by gathering and loading stock.

Reporting all breakages and spills.

Responsible for monitoring goods transported and delivered for timeliness and legality.

Assist in loading/unloading, sorting, and stocking, and packaging merchandise and orders.

To conduct any ad-hoc tasks request from the Top Management at any time.
