Job summary

Timur Lube Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a logistics/audit professional to conduct on-site warehouse visits, verify stock levels, SKUs and inventory records, and ensure SOP compliance. The role includes reviewing invoices and DOs, handling SIRIM applications, and auditing customer files across branches.

You will report to the Management Team, travel extensively, and train staff on SOPs and documentation requirements while improving warehouse and logistics processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in logistics, inventory auditing, or similar roles.
  • Technical: Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site visits to TLSB and subsidiary branch warehouses.
  • Verify stock levels, product SKUs, and inventory records to ensure SOP compliance.
  • Check stock labelling, storage, and handling.
  • Analyse inventory data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
  • Audit customer files and verify documentation for new accounts.
  • Review invoices and delivery orders for SOP compliance and accuracy.
  • Handle SIRIM applications, renewals, and approvals; liaise with authorities.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide updates to management.
  • Provide training to staff on SOPs and documentation requirements.
  • Travel extensively to all branches as required.

Job description

Conduct on-site visits to TLSB and subsidiary branch warehouses.

Verify stock levels, product SKUs, and inventory records to ensure compliance with company SOPs.

Check that stock is properly labelled, stored, and handled.

Analyse inventory data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.

Customer File Management

Audit customer files and verify that all required documents are complete.

Ensure new customer accounts are supported by proper documentation.

Report missing or incomplete documents to the relevant departments and follow up where necessary.

Invoice and Delivery Order Compliance

Review invoices and delivery orders (DOs) for compliance with company SOPs.

Verify delivery addresses, product quantities, SKUs, and customer sign-offs.

Ensure delivery details are accurately recorded and properly documented.

SIRIM Procedures and Compliance

Handle SIRIM applications, renewals, and approvals.

Liaise with SIRIM and relevant authorities on certification matters.

Monitor certification validity and ongoing compliance requirements.

Maintain accurate SIRIM records and supporting documents.

Assist with SIRIM audits and inspections.

Reporting and Process Improvement

Prepare detailed audit reports on warehouse operations and inventory performance.

Provide regular updates and report findings to management.

Recommend practical improvements to warehouse, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Monitor adherence to SOPs in warehouse operations and delivery processes.

Team Coordination

Work closely with branch managers, warehouse staff, and supply chain teams to address findings and maintain compliance.

Provide guidance and training to relevant staff on company SOPs and documentation requirements.

Other Duties

Carry out other tasks assigned by the superior or Board of Directors from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in logistics, inventory auditing, or similar roles.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Key Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively to all branches.

Reporting To: Management Team
