Job summary

SIW Manufacturing SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking an experienced Logistics/Store professional to oversee shipping documentation, coordinate transportation, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.

The role involves liaising with internal teams and external carriers to resolve issues and optimize movement of materials. You will verify documents, manage LMW reports, and support compliance with licenses and customs requirements while using MRP/ERP systems to improve procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business, Economics or Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration or Logistics or Transportation related field.
• Work Experience: Min 3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in related field.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and process all shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin and etc.
• To manage the logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Delivery planning & arrangement with third-party transporter and monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time.
• To liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.
• To verify all shipping documentation such as custom form, renewal application, monthly reports and etc
• Handling of LMW report, documents submission and yearly license renewal.

Job description

• To prepare and process all shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin and etc.
• To manage the logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Delivery planning & arrangement with third-party transporter and monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time.
• To liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.
• To verify all shipping documentation such as customform, renewal application, monthly reports and etc
• Handling of LMW report, documents submission and yearly license renewal.
• Transportation arrangements for goods and preparation of corresponding transportation documents and customs information, coordination with logistics companies to complete material transportation/customs clearance on time.
• Proper filing of all import and export shipping documents.
• To liaise with 3rdparty warehouse for goods storage, shipment arrangement and in-charge in stock take.
• To complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Responsible for utilizing MRP systems to optimize procedures.
• To handle other tasks and duties as and when requested by superior.

Authorities

• To manage day-to-day operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity or accuracy or timeliness objectives of logistics and store department.
• To perform analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operations and determine most cost effective and efficient means of transportation services.

Qualifications

Education :Degreein Business, Economics or Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration or Logistics or Transportation related field

Work Experience :Min 3-4years of relevant working experience, preferably in related field.

Others Job Requirement :

• Familiar with the transportation operation process and requirements, familiar with the customs operation process and the basic operation requirements of the LMW factory.
• Able to work independently under pressure.
