Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Junior Logistics Executive to join the Supply Chain & Logistics team and support day-to-day logistics operations. This is a 3-month contract starting October 2026 (Oct 2026 to Jan 2027).

Key duties include monitoring shipments, tracking ETAs, managing documents, processing SAP records, and providing backup during peak periods. The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in logistics with 1–3 years' related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Familiarity with logistics terminology and Incoterms.
• Experience with SAP modules SD & MM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update daily shipment status.
• Track inbound containers, ETAs and delays.
• Analyze shipment anomalies and provide preliminary root-cause analysis.
• Manage shipping documents, invoices and billing records.
• Process documentation in SAP and support invoicing workflows.
• Assist with delivery planning and shipment-related activities.
• Provide backup coverage during peaks or absences.
• Support 3PL and shipping-line invoice/documentation processes.

Job description

• Monitor and update incoming shipment status on a daily basis
• Track inbound containers, ETAs and shipment delays
• Follow up on shipment anomalies and provide preliminary root-cause analysis
• Manage and archive shipping documents, billing documents and invoices
• Process documentation and updates in SAP
• Support 3PL and shipping line invoice/documentation processes
• Assist with delivery planning and shipment-related activities
• Support the Logistics Executive as a backup during absence or peak shipment periods
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of supply chain & logistics terminology, including freight shipments, FEFO and Incoterms
• Basic knowledge of SAP (SD & MM)
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Teams
• Good problem-solving and prioritisation skills
• Proactive, fast learner and a good team player
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
