Description
- Manage the end-to-end inbound supply process from purchase order management through customs clearance and warehouse receipt.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless shipment execution and inventory availability.
- Monitor logistics performance, service levels, and operational KPIs while driving issue resolution and process improvements.
- Lead inventory reconciliation activities between ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and physical stock.
- Manage inventory adjustments, warehouse transfers, and stock discrepancy investigations.
- Oversee value-added packaging activities and coordinate stock availability with business requirements.
- Investigate logistics exceptions, product damages, and operational incidents while coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
- Support customs compliance, import and export documentation, and logistics-related financial reporting activities.
- Partner with Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient operations and timely month-end closing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Profile
A successful Logistics Executive should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience within logistics, warehousing, import/export, or supply chain operations.
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceutical, wine & spirits, or similarly fast-paced industries will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly JDE or equivalent platforms.
- Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of operating in a dynamic supply chain environment.
