Nakhoda Parfume in Machang, Kelantan is seeking an energetic Live Host on a contract basis to drive new business growth through live streaming and interactive presentations.

You will be the face of the brand, engaging audiences on multiple platforms, generating leads, and collaborating with sales and marketing to deliver compelling product stories while meeting KPIs.

About the role

Nakhoda Parfume is seeking an energetic and engaging Live Host to join our New Business Development team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be the face of our brand, driving new business growth through dynamic live streaming and interactive presentations. Based in Machang, Kelantan, you will be instrumental in showcasing our premium fragrance products to audiences, building brand awareness, and generating sales leads in real-time. This contract position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a significant impact on our sales and business expansion objectives.

Key responsibilities

Host engaging live streaming sessions across multiple platforms to showcase Nakhoda Parfume products to target audiences

Build and maintain authentic connections with viewers, responding to questions and feedback in real-time

Present product features, benefits and unique selling points in a compelling and persuasive manner

Identify and engage potential customers during live sessions, qualifying leads and nurturing sales opportunities

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop content strategies and promotional campaigns

Track performance metrics including viewer engagement, conversion rates and sales generated from live sessions

Source and cultivate new business opportunities through audience interaction and relationship building

Maintain professional brand representation and uphold Nakhoda Parfume's values during all public-facing activities

Adapt content and presentation style based on audience feedback and performance data

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a live host, presenter, or in a similar customer-facing sales role, preferably in retail, e-commerce or direct-to-consumer sales

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences and hold their attention

Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of generating leads and driving conversions

Proficiency with live streaming platforms and social media tools (TikTok, Instagram Live, YouTube Live or similar)

Comfortable working on camera and presenting products confidently to diverse audiences

Knowledge of the fragrance or beauty industry is advantageous

Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and KPIs

Fluency in Malay and English; additional languages are beneficial

Natural enthusiasm, charisma and a positive attitude towards business development
