About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Live Host (Part Time) to join FLOWMKT SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Perak. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to be at the forefront of our sales and engagement strategy. As a Live Host, you will be the face and voice of our brand during live streaming sessions, presenting products and services to our audience in real-time. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement, building brand awareness, and ultimately converting viewers into customers. Your charisma, communication skills, and product knowledge will directly impact our sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Host live streaming sessions on various platforms, presenting products and services in an engaging and compelling manner
• Interact with viewers in real-time, answering questions and addressing concerns about products or services
• Develop and maintain a strong on-camera presence that reflects the brand's values and personality
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create engaging content and promotional campaigns
• Monitor viewer engagement metrics and feedback during live sessions to optimise performance
• Present product features, benefits, and promotions clearly and persuasively to drive sales conversions
• Build authentic connections with the audience to foster brand loyalty and repeat viewership
• Follow scripts and guidelines while adapting content to maintain audience interest and engagement
• Maintain professionalism and composure whilst managing live interactions and technical issues

What we're looking for

• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and captivate an audience

• Strong sales acumen with an understanding of how to influence and persuade viewers
• Ability to work part-time with flexible scheduling that may include evenings and weekends
• Product knowledge or willingness to quickly learn about products and services
• High energy, enthusiastic personality with the ability to maintain engagement throughout sessions
• Experience in sales, customer service, or live streaming environments is preferred but not essential
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations during live broadcasts
• Proficiency in basic social media platforms and live streaming tools
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Fluency in English and/or Malay is essential; additional languages are a plus
