About the role

Vivastar Entertainment Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and engaging Live Host to join our team in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. This is a part-time position that offers flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule. As a Live Host, you will be the face and voice of our brand, delivering compelling entertainment and promotional content to captivate audiences across various platforms and live events. This role is strategically important to our company as it directly impacts audience engagement, brand visibility, and the overall success of our promotional campaigns and entertainment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Host live events, broadcasts, and promotional activities with energy, enthusiasm and professionalism
• Engage with audiences in real-time, creating an interactive and entertaining experience that encourages participation and brand loyalty
• Deliver scripted and ad-libbed content smoothly, adapting to live situations and maintaining audience interest
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless execution of live segments and promotional content
• Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure, fast-paced live environments
• Promote products, services, or events in an authentic and persuasive manner that resonates with target audiences
• Interact with viewers through social media, chat functions, and other engagement channels during live sessions
• Prepare and research content materials to ensure knowledgeable and credible delivery
• Gather feedback from audiences and production teams to continuously improve hosting performance

• Proven experience as a live host, broadcaster, or similar on-air personality role in the entertainment, media, or promotional industry
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to captivate and engage diverse audiences
• Confident and charismatic personality with strong stage presence and natural showmanship
• Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations in live environments
• Excellent vocal clarity and control with professional diction and pronunciation
• Knowledge of current trends, popular culture, and entertainment industry developments
• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part-time hours that may include evenings, weekends, or irregular schedules
• Experience with social media platforms and digital engagement strategies is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, technical staff, and creative departments
