Gelora Batik Exclusive in Kota Bharu, Kelantan is seeking a dynamic Live Host Executive to drive online sales through engaging live streaming and interactive product showcases.

You will present premium batik collections, highlight heritage and craftsmanship, respond to customer questions in real time, and collaborate with marketing and inventory teams to plan compelling live selling campaigns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in live hosting, sales or customer engagement in e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and captivate an audience.
• Fluency in Malay and English; Mandarin or other regional languages are advantageous.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and charismatic Live Host Executive to join our sales team in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the face of Gelora Batik Exclusive, engaging directly with customers through live streaming and interactive selling sessions. As a Live Host Executive, you will showcase our premium batik collections, communicate product features and benefits persuasively, and drive sales through authentic and compelling presentations. This position is crucial to our growth strategy as we expand our digital and direct-to-consumer sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Host engaging and professional live streaming sessions to showcase batik products and collections to customers
• Communicate product features, heritage, craftsmanship and benefits in a compelling and informative manner
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and questions during live sessions, providing accurate product information
• Build authentic connections with viewers and foster a community around the Gelora Batik Exclusive brand
• Process customer orders and transactions efficiently during and after live sessions
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets whilst maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
• Collaborate with the marketing and inventory teams to plan and execute successful live selling campaigns
• Gather and provide feedback from customers to inform product development and marketing strategies
• Maintain professional presentation standards and represent the brand values consistently across all platforms
• Analyse session performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in live hosting, sales or customer engagement, preferably in e-commerce, retail or direct-to-consumer environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and captivate an audience
• Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to convert interest into sales
• Fluency in Malay and English; additional languages such as Mandarin or other regional languages are advantageous
• Comfortable and confident on camera with a natural, authentic and personable demeanor
• Knowledge of or genuine interest in batik, textiles, fashion or cultural products
• Proficiency with social media platforms and digital tools used in live streaming and e-commerce
• Ability to work flexibly, including evening and weekend shifts as required by the business
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Familiarity with sales platforms, CRM systems or e-commerce tools is desirable but not essential
