Job summary

GLAMPING PARK TRAVEL AND TOUR SDN BHD is seeking an energetic Event Support Assistant to assist in setup, teardown, guest services, and on-site operations for events in Putrajaya.

You will coordinate with vendors and performers, help with seating, registrations, and ushering, operate basic sound and lighting equipment, monitor safety, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for attendees throughout the event.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent; training in events management, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with diverse teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to event-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup & Teardown: Assist in setting up venues, arranging furniture, decorations, signage, AV equipment, and packing after events.
• Guest Support & Crowd Management: Welcome guests, provide directions, assist with seating, registration, and ushering.
• Logistics Assistance: Support vendors and partners with logistics and equipment needs, transport event supplies.
• Technical & Equipment Handling: Help set up and operate basic sound systems, lighting, and multimedia equipment; report issues promptly.
• On-Site Support: Respond to event-related tasks quickly, monitor areas for cleanliness, order, and safety.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and assist with emergency protocols; ensure setups meet health and safety standards.
