Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on livestream operations manager to run daily livestream operations, schedule broadcasts, and coordinate category store workflows. You will drive growth by optimizing viewership, engagement, and conversions across single-category livestream rooms.

You will collaborate with product selection, supply chain, customer service, and after-sales teams to improve listings, livestream conversion, and post-sale service, while studying Malaysian consumer culture to incubate

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in live commerce, content commerce, or host operations.
• Experience independently managing livestream rooms or live commerce projects.
• Hands-on experience building livestream operations from 0 to 1, increasing livestream duration and GMV.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily live commerce operations, including livestream scheduling, broadcasting rhythm, live content, moderation, campaign rhythm, and review mechanisms.
• Drive single-category livestream rooms to achieve stable daily livestreaming of 6 hours or more, while improving viewership, engagement, conversion, AOV, and repeat purchases.
• Build host management systems, including host recruitment, training, scheduling, sales scripts, performance evaluation, and growth feedback.
• Work with product selection, supply chain, customer service, and after-sales teams to improve store operations from product listing and livestream conversion to post-sale service.
• Monitor live and store data, including GMV, viewers, engagement rate, conversion rate, AOV, returns, exchanges, and customer feedback, and use data to drive improvements.
• Study Malaysian consumer culture, shopping behavior, and content preferences to support incubation of new livestream rooms, product categories, and content formats.
