Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a experienced Technical Support Specialist in Penang to join our Video Division. You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software and systems, and escalate when needed while delivering a strong customer-first experience across calls, chat, and emails.

You’ll work with Silent Sentinel products and collaborate with regional teams to resolve issues efficiently, with after-hours on-call support as required in a fast-paced security tech environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support experience in video surveillance or related fields.
• Technical Degree and certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA A+ preferred.
• Experience with Linux, CRM platforms, and KCS methodology.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain understanding of Motorola Solutions software and Silent Sentinel products.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and networks over phone, chat and remote.
• Document case details in a management system and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend on-call support.
• Continuously learn new skills and products to keep pace with innovation.
