Job summary

Straits Design Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to identify new opportunities and drive market strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

You will engage with consultants, contractors, developers and government agencies, translate project needs to the Applications Department, and develop a robust project pipeline to hit annual budgets. Candidates with a Diploma and 2–3 years of sales experience are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in technical or marketing discipline required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CAD knowledge is a plus.
• 2–3 years sales experience preferred; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Strong communication with clients.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin advantageous.
• Independent yet a team player; willing to travel across Malaysia.
• Valid driving license with own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities and formulate sales strategies with the Sales Manager.
• Identify projects and follow up with consultants, contractors, developers and government agencies.
• Understand project needs and communicate to Applications Department.
• Develop and update Project Pipeline to meet yearly sales budget.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, receive orders and collect payments post-delivery.
