Job summary

AIA Shared Services is seeking an Associate in Life Claims Assessment to accurately process and assess life insurance claims for the Hong Kong & Macau market. The role requires understanding medical terminology, health conditions, and policy terms, with a focus on timely, fair handling of each claim.

Ideal candidates include Health Science or Biomedical graduates, fresh graduates or those with life insurance claims experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, Biotechnology, Biology or related discipline.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong written and spoken communication in English; Chinese literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and assess life insurance claims in line with guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure claims decisions are documented, transparent and traceable.
• Meet targets for quality, turnaround time, and productivity.
• Maintain knowledge of claims procedures, product terms and policy details.
• Develop technical and analytical skills to handle broader claims scope and higher authority levels.
• Communicate with empathy and professionalism in all interactions with customers.
