Job summary

Compass Beam Capital is seeking a highly motivated Legal Executive to join our legal team. You will support legal operations end-to-end, drafting, reviewing, researching, coordinating with external lawyers, and keeping matters on track in a growing investment group.

You will handle contracts, assess legal implications, manage cases, and liaise with management, internal teams, clients and external solicitors to ensure organised, compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years post-qualification experience in legal practice or in-house corporate/commercial law.
• Excellent command of English; working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Reliable, independent, but also a team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal recommendations for operational and commercial matters.
• Research, draft, review, and coordinate with external lawyers on contracts and documents.
• Manage ongoing legal matters and liaise with management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with CEO’s office, HR, finance and operations to align on legal requirements.
