Job summary

Outspan Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Learning & Development lead to drive the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop the training plan, manage the L&D budget, and optimize the LMS across sites.

You will lead leadership and supervisor development, partner with managers and external vendors, mentor junior staff, and contribute to broader HR initiatives, ensuring effective communication of learning strategies throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and training plan development.
• Oversee LMS optimization and design; develop, deliver leadership, soft skills, and on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
• Drive Accelerated Development and Supervisor Development initiatives while proposing and implementing innovative learning solutions.
• Manage external training vendors and partners and collaborate with managers to deploy effective training interventions.
• Lead cross-functional Learning and Development projects to support capability building, integration, and workforce upskilling across sites.
• Conduct training audits and evaluations, serve as the primary audit liaison, and maintain L&D policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior Learning and Development team members.
• Participate actively in broader HR initiatives and cross-departmental projects as required.
• Manage additional Learning and Development tasks assigned by superiors to support departmental objectives
• Involves in creating effective communication strategies to ensure information is conveyed clearly and effectively across the organization.
