Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Training and Development Officer to assess organisational training needs, design and deliver engaging programmes, and manage learning initiatives across departments.

You will coordinate training schedules, maintain records, and collaborate with external providers while supporting onboarding and budget monitoring. Strong LMS skills and at least 3 years of relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, T&D, or business-related field.
• Minimum 3 years in training, HR, or learning and development.
• Strong knowledge of training methodologies and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with LMS and training administration software.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs across the organisation through consultation with department heads and staff.
• Design, develop and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops and initiatives tailored to different roles and experience levels.
• Coordinate and manage training schedules, venues, materials and resources for smooth delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive training records and databases, tracking participation, completion rates and outcomes.
• Evaluate effectiveness through feedback collection and analysis; recommend improvements.
• Support onboarding with induction programmes for new employees.
• Collaborate with external training providers and consultants to source development solutions.
• Prepare training budgets and monitor expenditure for cost-effective resource use.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep programmes current.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with other HR functions.
