Job summary

Spindex invites an Industrial Engineer to join our Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd). You will focus on improving CNC/machining processes and drive lean manufacturing initiatives on the shop floor.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, and willingness to work on site in Ulu Tiram with AWS and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing (machining preferred).
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Able to work on a shopfloor environment.
• Own transport and willing to work in Ulu Tiram.
• 5 working days (Mon-Fri: 8:15am–5:30pm).
• AWS and performance bonus are provided.

Responsibilities

• Improve production processes (CNC/machining operations).
• Conduct time study and cycle time analysis.
• Monitor output, OEE, downtime and scrap.
• Reduce waste and production cost (manpower, machine, material).
• Improve line balancing and workflow.
• Optimize factory layout for material flow efficiency.
• Develop SOP and work instructions.
• Analyze data to identify performance gaps.
• Implement Lean activities (5S, Kaizen).
