Job summary

Spindex, a leading precision engineering manufacturer, is hiring an Industrial Engineer for its Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd). The role focuses on improving CNC/machining processes, conducting time studies, and driving Lean manufacturing initiatives on the shop floor.

The successful candidate will have a relevant engineering degree and 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to work on site in Ulu Tiram. Transport is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
2–3 years of manufacturing experience, machining preferred.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
Able to work on the shopfloor; own transport and willing to work in Ulu Tiram.

Responsibilities

Improve CNC/machining production processes.
Conduct time studies and cycle time analysis.
Monitor output, OEE, downtime and scrap.
Reduce waste and production costs (manpower, machine, material).
Improve line balancing and workflow.
Optimize factory layout for material flow efficiency.
Develop SOP and work instructions.
Analyze data to identify performance gaps.
Implement Lean activities (5S, Kaizen).

We are now hiring for a Industrial Engineer, to be based in our Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd).

Responsibility

Improve production processes (CNC/machining operations)
Conduct time study and cycle time analysis
Monitor output, OEE, downtime and scrap

Requirement
