Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to oversee daily lifting and hoisting activities at the construction site in Malaysia. You will coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and safety personnel to ensure safe operations in line with approved lifting plans.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy lifting, with knowledge of cranes, rigging, and lifting practices.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Lifting Supervisor on construction or infra projects.
Experience in bridge, road, precast, piling, or heavy lifting works preferred.
Good knowledge of crane operations, rigging, and lifting practices.
Familiar with lifting plans, crane load charts, risk assessments, and method statements.
Relevant lifting supervisor competency/certification recognized by authority.
Knowledge of DOSH/JKKP requirements related to lifting operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily lifting and hoisting at the site.
Ensure lifting operations follow approved lifting plans and procedures.
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, site engineers, and safety personnel.
Supervise lifting involving mobile cranes, precast beams, U-beams, and heavy materials.
Check load weight, lifting points, crane capacity, radius, and ground conditions.
Ensure proper selection and use of lifting accessories and inspect them regularly.
Maintain lifting records, inspections, and relevant documentation.
Report lifting incidents, near misses, and equipment defects to Site Management.
