Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Safety & Health professional to advise management on safety issues and to develop and implement safety procedures across our construction sites in Malaysia.

The role requires coordinating with local authorities and clients to ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings, and maintaining strong communication in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety management systems and ISO 9001/45001.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Mandarin, English & Malay.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on safety and health issues.
• Develop safety measures and procedures.
• Implement an effective occupational safety and health plan.
