Job summary

Wangsa Holdings Sdn Bhd in Ampang Jaya, Selangor, is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to lead our dining floor at Taman Melawati. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional service, coordinating front-of-house operations and upholding the highest hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in hospitality, strong knowledge of food and beverage service, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to train and motivate staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Floor Supervisor or similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and train team members.
• Outstanding customer service skills and guest satisfaction focus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate waiting staff to ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Greet guests and seat them promptly and comfortably.
• Monitor service quality, presentation and timing to uphold standards.
• Train and mentor waiting staff on service standards and guest interaction.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and stations.
• Check dining room setup before service to meet company standards.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and inventory of dining supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Report on service performance and contribute to improvements.
