Job summary

Sunrise Recruit (CP4U) in Malaysia seeks an experienced Lead Electronics Design Engineer to drive concept-to-production, develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools, and optimize designs for seamless system integration and performance.

You will mentor firmware and junior engineers, perform reviews, coordinate prototyping and hands-on debugging, and oversee end-to-end PCB/PCBA processes, including BOM management and collaboration with JDM partners to deliver

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual electronics design, create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using EDA tools, and optimize designs for system integration and performance.
• Lead and mentor firmware and junior engineers, perform code/design reviews, and oversee hardware-firmware algorithm integration.
• Coordinate prototyping, perform hands‑on debugging, resolve interface issues, and optimize circuits for reliability and efficiency.
• Design BLE modules, implement ESD protection, and manage EMC/EMI testing and mitigation for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end PCB/PCBA processes (stack-up, signal integrity, QC), manage BOM costs, and collaborate with Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) partners.
