Job summary
Rubberflex Sdn Bhd in Bentong, Malaysia seeks an Automation Engineer to lead installation, integration and commissioning of automated packaging lines and factory automation across our manufacturing operations in Bentong, Pahang. This role will oversee end‑of‑line packaging systems and coordinate turnkey machinery integration.
You will transform manual workflows into high‑efficiency production environments, program PLCs/HMIs, and drive plant‑wide automation upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on automation experience.
- Experience in installation and commissioning of automated packaging machinery.
- Proven PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and equipment suppliers.
- Fluency in Mandarin required; English and Bahasa Malaysia also used.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, integration and commissioning of automated packaging lines.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs/HMIs; support VFDs and servo controls.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors; prepare URS and review schematics.
- Drive plant-wide automation upgrades and OEE improvements.
- Train technicians and ensure SOPs and maintenance routines.
