Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer for Automation and End-of-Line Equipment Engineering & Maintenance. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems and equipment across manufacturing operations to boost productivity, product consistency and workflow efficiency.

You will lead automation projects involving PLCs, HMI, SCADA, robotics, vision inspection, and material handling while ensuring health and safety standards and adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering.
• Professional engineering qualifications or relevant technical certifications are an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Advantage if having Mandarin language skills.
• Experience in manufacturing with ISO compliance and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and optimize automation systems and equipment in manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve productivity and product quality.
• Develop automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, actuators, robotics and vision systems.
• Create specifications, layouts, drawings and automation architecture; ensure integration with production and quality systems.
• Lead feasibility studies, evaluations and proof-of-concept activities; set standards for design and documentation.
• Drive safety, 5S, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement across the plant.
