Job summary

Satar Empire Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Geomatics Engineer to join our survey team in Malaysia. You will support project teams with accurate measurements and maintain survey equipment to ensure reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Geomatic Engineering with honors or related field, communicates effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and is able to work with minimal supervision. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Excellent communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely quantity measurements.
• Record data from topography surveys to map locations, obtain measurements, and verify data through calculations.
• Clean and maintain survey equipment and monitor calibration for accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in supervising and planning the site survey teams’ setup and progress.
• Perform traversing and leveling works.
• Prepare daily reports for survey activity.
• Do other duties as required by the surveyor.

Job Responsibility

Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely quantity measurements.

Recording data as part of topography surveys to map locations, obtain measurements of points, etc and verify data through calculations, in accordance with survey plans, produce reports and drawings in a cost-efficient and efficient manner.

To clean and keep survey equipment in good condition and monitor scheduled calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of data obtained and assessment of equipment condition.

Assist in supervising and planning the site survey teams’ setup, monitoring and tracking progress,

To do in traversing works and leveling works.

To prepare daily report for survey activity.

To do other duty as required by surveyor.
