Job summary

CCM Chemicals Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Lab Technician to perform testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods, and to ensure lab activities meet ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2008 procedures.

You will report non-conformances, maintain cleanliness, prepare standard solutions, and record data in SAP. You will also assist in the analysis of combustible gas and oxygen and work with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have good laboratory and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate multiple activities.
• Must not be color blind.
• Experience in chemical industry is preferred (2 years).
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Test incoming raw material, in-process material and finished goods.
• Ensure lab activities comply with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2008 SOPs.
• Report non-conformances to supervisor/plant immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment.
• Prepare and calibrate standard solutions and equipment used in lab.
• Record and report data in SAP system.
• Involve in analysis of combustible gas and oxygen.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum – SPM Preferably with Science Subjects/Diploma in relevant field
• Preferably candidates with 2 years of experience in chemical industry
• Good laboratory and analytical skills
• Must not be color blind
• Possess good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously
