Job summary

SEDINGIN EMBUN Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail‑oriented scientist to support daily laboratory operations, perform tests on materials and samples, and ensure quality with rigorous documentation. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with comprehensive training provided.

You will work under the Lab Manager to uphold safety standards and contribute to R&D trials in a dynamic lab setting, developing technical skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Science or related field.
• ISO 17025:2015 safety and lab procedures knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials and in-process samples.
• Maintain proper lab documentation, logs and test results.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external standards.
• Conduct R&D activities and product development trials.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager to ensure quality standards.
• Uphold lab safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards.

To assist in daily laboratory operations including testing, data analysis, and quality assurance, while maintaining lab safety and compliance standards. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about scientific work and eager to develop their technical skills in a dynamic lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and maintain cleanliness.


• Maintain proper lab documentation, including test results, logs, and inventory.


• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard procedures.


• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external standards.


• Perform R&D activities and product development trials.


• Work closely with Lab Manager to ensure quality standards are met.


• Uphold all lab safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Science or a related field


• Solid understanding of basic lab techniques, instruments, and safety protocols (ISO 17025:2015).


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret test results.


• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced lab environment.


• Team-oriented, dependable, and takes initiative.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data recording and reporting.
