Job summary

Mygro Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a laboratory staff to follow standard methodologies and SOPs while maintaining accurate data records and a clean, safe work environment. You will support inventory movements, stock counts, and cross-department collaboration to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, relevant biochemistry education, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic lab setting.

Qualifications

• Precise and detail-oriented approach to routine lab tasks.
• Strong analytical judgement for data interpretation.
• Current licence or relevant certification required.
• Education includes SPM, Diploma, Advance/ Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's in Biochemistry.
• Demonstrates initiative, hardworking, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Mature and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow established laboratory methodologies and SOPs for routine tasks.
• Adhere to health & safety requirements and company policies.
• Document laboratory activities and record test results accurately.
• Maintain equipment, materials and cleanliness in the lab.
• Manage stock movements: receiving, issuing and inventory monitoring.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with departments on stock requests and deliveries.
• Prepare stock-related reports when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Follow established laboratory methodologies and procedures in carrying out routine tasks.

Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and health & safety requirements.

Maintain awareness of industry developments, best practices, and laboratory standards.

Document laboratory activities, record test results, and maintain accurate data records.

Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and work areas in good working condition.

Provide administrative and clerical support related to laboratory operations.

Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness within the laboratory at all times.

Manage inventory movements, including stock receiving, issuance, and monitoring of stock flow.

Conduct regular stock counts and stock reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.

Coordinate and liaise with relevant departments regarding stock requests, deliveries, and inventory matters.

Assist in maintaining inventory records and preparing stock-related reports when required.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
