Job summary

AJINORIKI MSG (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support daily testing, sample preparation, documentation, and upkeep of lab cleanliness and equipment.

The role requires following GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 procedures within a manufacturing setting. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with basic knowledge of laboratory testing, food safety, and quality control as advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, prepare, and retain raw material, in-process, and finished product samples.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests according to approved methods and procedures.
• Record test results accurately and maintain proper laboratory documentation.
• Assist in monitoring product quality and ensuring testing is completed within the required timeframe.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, glassware, and work areas in clean and proper condition.
• Assist with calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and testing materials as required.
• Report abnormal or out-of-specification results to the Laboratory Supervisor / QA Manager.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory samples, chemicals, and waste.
• Follow company requirements relating to GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, laboratory safety, and food safety.

Education

Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field

Job description

About you
