Go Capital Growth Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and dedicated Chemist Laboratory to join our Science & Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our laboratory operations, contributing to the development and quality assurance of our chemical and technical projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and success of our laboratory work, supporting the company's commitment to excellence in scientific research and analysis.
Conducting chemical analyses and experiments according to established protocols and standard operating procedures
Preparing and standardising chemical solutions and reagents for laboratory use
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring accuracy and precision
Recording and documenting experimental data, observations and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems
Performing quality control testing on raw materials, intermediate products and final products
Analysing test results and preparing comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and clients
Troubleshooting laboratory equipment issues and coordinating with maintenance personnel when necessary
Adhering strictly to health, safety and environmental regulations within the laboratory setting
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
Collaborating with other team members and departments to support research and development objectives
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in chemical analysis or technical services
Strong understanding of chemical principles, analytical methods and laboratory best practices
Proficiency in operating standard laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, pH metres and analytical balances
Excellent attention to detail with meticulous documentation and record-keeping skills
Competency in data analysis and interpretation of experimental results
Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and laboratory safety protocols
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving laboratory challenges
Proficiency in relevant laboratory software and data management systems
Preferably, experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures in a regulated environment
