Job summary

Norman Process Oils Malaysia Plant Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a laboratory technician to perform basic lab tasks, prepare solutions and reagents, and conduct material and product testing under written procedures.

The role supports ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF16949 frameworks, requires careful data handling, and offers rotating 12-hour shifts with training and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic laboratory tasks such as preparation of solutions and reagents.
• Knowledge of basic industrial safety requirements for work in a laboratory.
• Experience with assembling laboratory apparatus and understanding operation of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill verbal and written orders from HOD within established timeframes.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as preparation of solutions and reagents.
• Analyse raw materials, process samples and end products following written procedures.
• Ensure repeatability and accuracy of testing results within set standards.
• Process and document test results accurately and timely.
• Enter data into ERP system and verify data transfer.

Job Description:-

Rotating 12 hour day and night shift and rest days under condition that the average number of hours worked over any period of three weeks shall not exceed forty-eight per week.

Job Responsibilities:-

Fulfill verbal and written order from HOD within establish timeframe with due quality

Performing basic laboratory task, such as preparation of solution and reagent.

Performing analysis for raw material, sample from process and End product certification following written procedure and method

Ensure the repeatability and reproducibility of the testing result is within limits set out by standard technical documentation.

Processing and documenting correctly the test result.

Insert data analysis into ERP system and ensure correctness of data transfer.

Ensure the completeness, reliability and timelines of the job performed.

Performing witness Sampling for End product and Raw material

Ensuring daily cleanliness of laboratory

Strictly complies with company policy、

Actively involved in company integrated management system ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF16949. Undergo training, Practicing safety, HIRAAC and Environmental Aspect.

Requirements:-

Knowledge and experience in performing basic laboratory tasks, such as preparation of solutions, and reagents.

Knowledge of basic industrial safety requirements for work in laboratory;

Experience in assembling laboratory appparatus, knowledge of designations, rules and principles of operation of laboratory equipment, measurement instrumentation and laboratory glassware;

Working experience in industrial laboratory (oleochemical/petrochemical) would be adantage.
