Job summary

Job description

Assist Lab Manager in his/her routine job.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing, inspections, and sample analysis according to established procedures and standards.
• Perform regular gas sampling from CVI furnaces and test with Gas Chromatograph.
• Prepare, label, and document samples accurately.
• Manage lab testing report and comply with the archiving procedure.
• Perform 1st level maintenance on the quality lab equipment (5S, regular cleaning, basic troubleshooting & escalation to maintenance team).
• Support laboratory test equipment readiness and validate the test method.
• Support Quality common Key Performance Index (KPI).
• Adhere and actively participate in occupational safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, etc.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in laboratory testing, quality control, and material characterization.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in a laboratory or quality environment are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes, laboratory safety, and testing standards.
• Ability to operate laboratory instruments and testing equipment (e.g., tensile testers, microscopes, spectrometers — adjust as needed).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data reporting.
