Private Advertiser is seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our Sungai Bakap, Penang team. This full-time role supports laboratory operations and contributes to the company’s success.

You will perform laboratory-based research, testing, and data recording across biology, biotechnology, environmental science, forensic science, and pharmacology, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry, or related field.
• Open to candidates with or without working experience.
• Knowledge in QA/QC systems, inspection methods, and quality standards.
• Familiar with laboratory testing, documentation, and report preparation.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other productivity tools.
• Willing to work in Sungai Bakap, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory-based research, analysis and testing to support life science professionals.
• Sample, test, measure, research and analyse in biology, biotechnology, environmental science, forensic science and pharmacology.
• Observe and monitor laboratory activities, record test sequences and analyse the results.
• Carry out experiments related to process, product development and change in formulations and maintain proper recording of data in the experiment records.
