About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Technician (contract yearly) to join our team in our Bayan Lepas plant that is will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our Life Science and Medical production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality control (QC) testing, preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with lab safety and organizational standards.

This is a YEARLY CONTRACT position.

What you'll be doing:

Quality Control & Testing

• Perform wet tests to assess product functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Record and analyze test results, reporting any deviations or issues
• Prepare plates for testing on a scheduled weekly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of reagents required for testing and analysis.
• Assist in troubleshooting systemic instrument or process issues under the guidance of senior team members or supervisors.
• Operate a wide range of laboratory instruments, including pipettors, to conduct tests and prepare reagents.

Laboratory Operations & Maintenance

• Conduct preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area: Perform daily laboratory maintenance tasks, adhering to 6S
