Job summary

Lancesoft in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Application / Middleware Support Engineer to join our onsite team. The role centers on IBM WebSphere WAS, middleware integration, production support, troubleshooting, and incident management.

You will provide L2 production support for enterprise apps, monitor environments, perform RCA, manage incidents and changes per ITIL, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and production support.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL incident, problem and change management.
• Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases; understands integration/middleware tech.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of middleware and application incidents; RCA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application and middleware production support for enterprise apps and integration platforms.
• Monitor environments and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, connectivity, and middleware incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes per ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, integration, and business teams to resolve production issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, maintenance, and operations across middleware platforms.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents with strong customer focus.
