Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Application / Middleware Support Engineer to join our Cyberjaya team onsite. The role focuses on L2 production and middleware support, with hands-on work in IBM WebSphere, integration technologies, and incident management.

You will monitor environments, troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and coordinate with development and operations teams. Strong ITIL knowledge and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server and production support.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL incident, problem and change management.
• Proficiency with SQL and Oracle database operations.
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTP/FTPS/AS2).

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application and middleware production support for enterprise systems.
• Monitor and proactively identify issues in application and middleware environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents across application, integration, and middleware layers.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes per ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, maintenance and operations of middleware platforms.

We are looking for an experienced Application / Middleware Support Engineer to join our team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in IBM WebSphere, middleware/integration technologies, production support, troubleshooting, and incident management.

Role: Application / Middleware Support Engineer

Focus: L2 Production & Middleware Support

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application and middleware production support for enterprise applications and integration platforms.
• Monitor application and middleware environments and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, connectivity, and middleware‑related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, database, integration, and business teams to resolve production issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, maintenance, and operational activities across middleware platforms.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents while maintaining strong customer focus and service quality.
