Job summary

CEIC Data is seeking an L2 technical support professional in Malaysia to provide application assistance, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across regions. The role focuses on rapid resolution, data integrity, and proactive monitoring to maintain system health.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IT/SE degree, 2+ years of MySQL experience, and familiarity with MongoDB. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential for success in a multi-time-zone

Qualifications

Degree in CS/IT/SE or related IT field preferred.
2+ years of MySQL experience.
Experience with MongoDB.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication across regions/time zones.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 technical support to users on application issues.
Troubleshoot issues via investigation of system/application logs.
Participate in Incident Management and perform RCA on high severity incidents.
Collaborate with BA/PO & Engineering/IT to resolve user issues.
Monitor system health, metrics, and identify potential issues.
Perform data patching with data integrity and quality controls.
Generate reports as required by end users.
Document support procedures and lessons learned.
