Talent Craft Consultancy is recruiting a Business Development Executive to open our Klang Valley hub and build the commercial book from the ground up. You will operate with autonomy, backed by an established fleet and depot, within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team.

The role requires a proven ability to open new accounts, manage complex B2B deals, and deliver disciplined sales execution across the full cycle, from prospecting to close.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in business development, sales or key account management.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts from a cold start.
• Experience selling into complex B2B organisations with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating transportation agreements and tenders.
• Strong commercial numeracy and cost-to-serve understanding.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Aufgaben

• Build and own the Klang Valley target account map, identifying and prioritising customers across FMCG, building materials, chemicals, agri-commodities, retail distribution and 3PL / freight forwarding.
• Generate pipeline through direct prospecting, industry networks, associations, trade events, referrals and existing group relationships.
• Lead the full sales cycle end-to-end — from first contact to close, including proposals and negotiations.
• Respond to RFQs, RFPs and tenders and manage BAFO rounds through to award.
• Achieve annual targets for new revenue, number of new customers, share of account, and gross margin contribution.
• Grow share of wallet in existing accounts with new lanes, SKUs and value-added services.
• Prepare rate proposals with operations and finance grounded in true cost-to-serve.
