Job summary

Shipco Transport seeks an ambitious Business Development Manager to expand its client base in Klang and strengthen market presence. You will drive revenue growth, identify new opportunities, and manage relationships with key clients.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, proven BD or sales experience in logistics, and strong negotiation/presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pricing to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows.
• Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients.
