Job summary

House of Gamtan Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Kitchen Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations and uphold food quality and hygiene standards in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves supervising the kitchen team, coordinating with the hall staff for smooth service, and ensuring SOPs are followed to maintain high service levels.

Ideal candidates have F&B/kitchen experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant F&B or kitchen experience preferred (not strictly required).
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the kitchen team.
• Manage daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure food quality, consistency and proper portioning.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with the hall team for smooth service.
• Monitor stock and kitchen supplies.
• Train and guide kitchen crew.
• Ensure company SOPs are followed.
• Prepare and cook food according to SOPs.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and food storage.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist with stock checking and inventory.
