Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and handle food preparation, cooking, portioning and plating.
• Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly during busy service periods.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Supervise, train and guide kitchen staff; allocate daily duties.
• Coordinate with Head Chef and front-of-house during service.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served within the expected timeframe.
