Job summary

Fully Kitchen Equipment Sdn Bhd is hiring a Kitchen Design & Technical Executive to translate client needs into functional, compliant kitchen designs. Based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, you will manage drawings, specs, and supplier coordination.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to codes, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Prior experience in kitchen design and drafting is essential for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design, kitchen design, architectural technology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in kitchen design and technical drafting within commercial/residential kitchens.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen layouts, workflow, and ergonomic design standards.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and installation specs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed kitchen designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct client consultations to understand design preferences and constraints.
• Develop design proposals balancing aesthetics, functionality and budget.
• Prepare technical documentation: floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, installation specs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installation teams for project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations and safety standards.
