Job summary

EZ Kitchen Solutions Sdn Bhd, a supplier of stainless steel kitchen equipment, seeks a detail-oriented 3D CAD Designer to create sheet metal components for commercial kitchens. You will produce manufacturable drawings meeting client and hospitality standards and support fabrication teams in ensuring fit and function.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design, with proven 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor), and strong knowledge of sheet

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proven experience in 3D CAD design, preferably in sheet metal fabrication or stainless steel equipment design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
• Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles (bending, unfolding, tolerances, material properties)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, kitchen layouts, and client specifications
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple design/project tasks concurrently
• Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia
• Preferred: Experience designing commercial kitchen equipment, F&B fit-outs, or hotel supply projects
• Preferred: Familiarity with commercial refrigeration equipment specifications

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for stainless steel kitchen equipment (worktables, sinks, hoods, cabinets, custom fixtures, etc.)
• Prepare flat pattern/unfold drawings, BOMs, and cutting layouts for production
• Interpret client requirements, site measurements, and kitchen layout plans into detailed CAD designs
• Customize standard equipment designs to fit specific hotel/commercial kitchen project requirements
• Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure designs meet manufacturability, functionality, and space constraints
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, site engineers, or project managers
• Maintain proper version control and documentation of drawings
• Liaise with clients/vendors/hotel project teams on design clarifications where required
• Ensure designs comply with relevant food-service/hygiene and safety standards

EZ Kitchen Solutions Sdn Bhd specializes in the customization of stainless steel kitchen equipment, wholesale of commercial fridges, and equipment supply for hotel projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented 3D CAD Designer to design and detail sheet metal components for commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring accurate, manufacturable drawings that meet client and hospitality-industry requirements.

Key responsibilities

Develop 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for stainless steel kitchen equipment (worktables, sinks, hoods, cabinets, custom fixtures, etc.)
