R & D ARCHITECT STUDIO SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Assistant Architect cum authorities liaison officer to join our team at the Kuchai Lama office. The role focuses on producing detailed architectural drawings and plans to support construction projects on a full-time basis.

You will collaborate with the design team, interpret briefs, and ensure drawings comply with regulations and client requirements while maintaining high technical accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an architectural draughtsman or in a similar technical drawing role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and architectural principles.
• Ability to read and interpret design briefs, blueprints, and specifications.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with the design team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D architectural drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software.
• Interpret design briefs and translate them into technical drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to meet project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on client feedback and design changes.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all technical drawings.
